Training Programs

As with any emergency rescue equipment, training is critical for effective emergency use of the ROC™ Vertical Rescue System. DEUS Rescue strongly recommends repetitive and frequent training with all of its equipment. The better your training, the better your chance of saving lives in an emergency.

DEUS™ Certified Trainers are available to provide complete training sessions, or to assist your training efforts. DEUS™ Certified Trainers incorporate the following elements into their training:

• Pre-rigging and carrying DEUS™ vertical rescue equipment
  
• Locating and assessing the feasibility of points of egress
  
• Setting up anchors for vertical descent
  
• Using a DEUS™ endorsed harness for self-rescue and victim rescue
  
• Using the ROC™ Vertical Rescue System in hands-free and manual modes for self-rescue, single victim rescue and multiple victim rescue
  
• Understanding the technology in DEUS Rescue products
  
• Care and maintenance of DEUS™ products

Rope for use with the ROC™ Vertical Rescue System are produced exclusively by Sterling Rope and is the only rope designed for use with DEUS™ products.
