DEUS Back-Up Belay Kits

Easy, Automatic and Super-Safe Back-Up Belay.

Manual belay systems can lock up or allow shock load. Human belay operators can get distracted or react too slow. DEUS Back-Up Belay Kits, featuring the NFPA-certified DEUS 7300, overcomes these issues.

The DEUS 7300 operates automatically, is speed-limited to guard against free fall, and features exclusive “Soft Engagement Technology” to reduce shock load. Designed for all-day, everyday use, the 7300 features four redundant brakes. It’s also reversible without re-rigging making it ideal for training, evacuation or rescue.

Two Back-Up Belay Kits are available. The DEUS BT73 Back-Up Belay Kit for Training is a basic kit with a minimum of gear to rig anchors. The DEUS BR73 Back-Up Belay Kit for Rescue & Training includes more gear, including the DEUS Quik-Set Dual Anchor Kit for quick and easy rigging. Both kits are packed in DEUS Duffle Bags.
