Even though we did not design the BIGWIG™, we wish we had. It is simply the smartest and most practical solution for marking doors and keeping them from closing behind you during firefighting or search and rescue activities.

The BIGWIG, from BIGWIG Rescue Products, includes an integrated fluorescent marker, and acts as a positive door wedge. Mark the door, then prop it open with one easy-to-use, lightweight tool.

The marker is highly visible and heat resistant, so your mark will not burn off like other markers. Then slip the BIGWIG over the door hinge, and it is propped open during the search. Unlike wooden door wedges, it will not slip out, and it is easy to retrieve when you exit.

The BIGWIG is small, lightweight, durable, easy to grip, and glows in the dark so it is easy to spot.
